Student opportunities and activities

At Walbundrie Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our programs may include:

  • school sport, athletics and inter-school competitions
  • creative and performing arts
  • excursions and incursions
  • student leadership opportunities.

Bell times

The school operates in three sessions daily:

Session 1:            9:00am - 11:00am

Lunch:                 11:00am - 11:45am

Session 2:           11:45am - 1:15pm

Recess:                1:15pm - 1:45pm

Session 3:            1:45pm - 3:05pm

End of Day:         3:05pm

Canteen

Students have the opportunity to order their lunch from our local Piney Range Roadhouse on a Friday.

Parent portal

At Walbundrie Public School we use parent portal apps to make communication and admin easier for families. These tools help you:

  • make payments quickly and securely

  • view academic reports

  • stay up to date with school events

  • record absences.

Uniform

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

All students attending Walbundrie Public School are expected to wear their full school uniform with pride every day they are at school.

Our school uniform, including hats can be purchased at the school or ordered through the Schoolbytes app.

Please actively encourage your children to wear our school uniform everyday.

Travel to school

Walbundrie Public School currently has two bus runs in operation to transport our students to and from school. The majority of our students catch these buses.

The current providers are:

Walbundrie Bus Run: Lieschke Buses

Walbundrie South Bus Run: Martins Buses

At 3:05pm students assemble with their bags outside the classroom door . A teacher will escort students to the bus.
